- Surgical Suite: Total Knee Replacement - Connect through video conference to a live knee surgery where you can ask the surgical staff questions during the procedure. Participants do a virtual scrub-in and observe this surgery first hand. 90 minutes. $21.00 per person for groups of 12 - 30. Price includes COSI admission.
- In Depth: Autopsy: Follow an actual recorded human autopsy from start to finish with guidance from a real forensic pathologist to solve the case for the cause of death. 90 Minutes. $24.00 per person for groups of 12 - 30. Price includes COSI admission.
- Salsa Science: Exhilarate your senses and spice up your life as you explore the chemical and physical changes of cooking! Prepare 3 kinds of salsa, using items found in your gardens and kitchens, and then eat what you create! Plan on a 90 minute workshop for groups of 12 to 30 people. Experience the creative fun of cooking. $22.00 per person, price includes COSI Admission. Must reserve 4 weeks prior to visit date. Payment is due in advance for the purchase of food items.
- Astronomy: Roam the universe with a presentation from an Ohio State University astronomer and conduct experiments that reinforce gravitational force and interstellar distances. 90 minutes. $21.00 per person for groups of 12 - 30. Price includes COSI admission. Must reserve 4 weeks prior to visit date.
- Odd Science: Come and try your luck at COSI! Explore the science behind the games of chance, and learn how (or if) you can "beat the house." Lady Luck may rely more on science than you ever dreamed. COSI's master educators will take you through a "show of chance." Finish your experience with an explosive and exciting game of Chemistry Bingo for a chance to win some prizes. It's odd, it's science and it's COSI! Plan on a 90 minute workshop for groups of 12 to 50 people. $20.00 per person, price includes COSI admission. Must reserve 4 weeks prior to visit date.
- Adventure in the Valley of the Unknown: Challenge your inner explorer in this mysterious and fully immersive exhibit found only at COSI! Crack codes, uncover clues, and navigate mazes in a quest for knowledge. Members of the Explorers Society have been conducting an archaeological dig in the "Valley of the Unknown." The discovery of a locked tower is rumored to hold the Treasure of Knowledge, and only true explorers can open it! Can you solve the mystery? Plan on 90 minutes for groups of 12 to 30 people. $15.00 per person, price includes COSI admission. Must reserve 4 weeks prior to visit date.
- Looking to make a more robust trip with your youth groups? Why not visit COSI and plan a workshop that nurtures scientific inquiry? Book an Animation workshop. Learn how advancements in science and technology have made the art of animation more efficient and cost effective. Create your own animated film. This workshop runs 45-60 minutes, and is a creative way to connect to state academic standards. Then book an experience at Magic Mountain Polaris and see video animation LIVE in the video arcade, and take a ride on the Go-Kart track. Offered for groups of 12 to 35. Additional fee required. Must book four weeks in advance.
